speaking of purpose, I've decided 'officially' to go for my IBCLC certification.
no, this is not my true calling - or at least it doesn't feel like it, but I love helping people reach breastfeeding success. I figure I'll do it so I can reach people on a professional level.
What path are you going to take? I think going through LLL will be your best bet, but it's difficult depending on your group. I had looked into it but was blown off. It was frustrating. IIRC I remember someone telling me that WIC is often a good place to go to to obtain information on training. Much luck. I wish I'd pursued that as a side career. I will in the future and should add it to my laurels over time. I know as a nurse it will be easier for me to access training as well as experience.
